YOGA FROM HOME

Whoever said staying healthy was dull and boring? Certainly not us! The recent resurgence of COVID-19 not just reminded us of the value of health, it also meant our Black Monster family needed to take precaution such as home quarantine to minimize the risk of getting infected. Boo!

However, we kept things fun and light-hearted for our dearly valued staff with some Yoga-from-home! Black Monster coordinated with our health & fitness team to ensure staff were equipped with equipment they would need for practicing yoga, then held online sessions with anyone who was interested.  

Yoga not only benefited those who were stuck at home due to quarantine, but it also promotes good health, is an effective way of losing weight, burning calories, increasing physical flexibility, addressing aches and pains, reduce stress and even increasing energy levels. Everyone felt better, stronger and even closer to each other at the end of the Yoga sessions.

These activities not only strengthened our staff physically, but it also promoted stronger bonds between the Black Monster family members. By chatting, working out and pushing ourselves out of our comfort zone, we felt good both physically and mentally.
